Ubud is a place where traditional Balinese culture imbues every waking moment, where colourful offerings adorn the streets and where the hypnotic strains of the gamelan are an ever-present soundtrack to everyday life. It’s also somewhere that is relentlessly on trend – a showcase of sustainable design, mindfulness, culinary inventiveness and the very best that global tourism has to offer. People come to Ubud for relaxation, for rejuvenation and to have one of the most inspiring holidays you can have.
Tejaprana Bisma is located in a hidden corner in the heart of Ubud. Just a short walk from fabulous boutiques and the fabled Monkey forest. Nestled between the Campuhan River valley and sprawling rice fields, it is the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day and be inspired as nature paints the horizon with the glorious colours of sunset. Designed by an award-winning Balinese architect re-noun for his ability in creating serene spaces immersed with Balinese Taksu, or life quintessence.
Tejaprama Bisma villa’s face east allowing you to take full advantage of the warmth and benefits of the morning sun. Each villa has its own private courtyard, plunge pool and outdoor natural stone bathtub bringing you closer to the Balinese landscape.
Treat and test your courage in a quad bike adventure whilst enjoying the panorama of the countryside. This 90min adventure will take you through rainforest, rice paddies, jungle, rivers, tunnels and a waterfall.
White water rafting down the Ayung River is a unique sensation. You will laugh through the rapids and feel a peaceful calm as you pass by ancient rock carvings through the valley. Discover hidden waterfalls and tropical trees as you navigate the narrow canyons along the way.
It is an early start, but an amazing experience trekking Mount Batur, an active volcano. The slope of the volcano is covered by black lava which continues deep into the caldera. From the top of the mountain you will witness an amazing sunrise, Batur Lake and Mount Bromo on the eastern part of the island.
Bali is one of the unique places in Indonesia that allows individuals to connect with nature, and waterfalls are a perfect alternative to the beaches. Tegenungan Waterfall is close to Ubud. Even though it is a famous location in Bali, the waterfall is somewhat hidden from visitors. Either way, it is a must to visit.
